Caesar looks like the child of Michael Sheen and David Tennant.

That would actually be an interesting fight, the best light infantry of all time vs some of the best heavy infantry. I doubt they’d meet in pitched battle because Zulu impi’s could cover 20 miles in a day so would make sense to just bypass the Roman legion and hit supply lines.

It would be an interesting fight. The Zulus are able to maintain melee fighters 50% cheaper than the Romans and their fighter are able to gain promotions 25% quicker but the Romans Legions are able to build roads which would allow them to bring in reinforcements much faster. In a normal battle, I reckon the Zulus would have an edge in battle due to sheer numbers but would struggle to take any Roman cities as they will likely be more built up since they can build buildings 25% quicker (as long as the structure already exists in Rome), which will increase the likelihood of city walls being in place.

Thing is though, an Impi could travel 20 miles a day over rough terrain. Their movement speed would allow them to outflank the enemy and raid their production centers. At least that’s how I’d do it. Burn the farms and villages to create enough chaos in the rear and eventually force the Romans to protect food production or starve.

One of the best battles in a while.
